Peacekeeper
This novel takes place many centuries before Equilibrium and details the events of the Spirits themselves and their dealings with mortals before they decided to desert the mortal plane altogether.
The story follows Thraine vor Enereng in his duties as a Peacekeeper, a Spirit who regularly travels to the mortal plane to protect innocent lives in an age of warfare. Being an extremely proficient Peacekeeper, however, has gained him more than a few enemies within his own ranks, enemies who attempt to frame him for the worst crime in their order—the murder of a mortal.
But Thraine is determined to prove his innocence and return to his duties and is not afraid to unsettle the realm of the Spirits themselves to get what he wants.
