When the boy grows up, he and his friends plan to escape their harsh lives but a civil war is raging through the lands and they inevitably get caught up in it.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"\/work\/novels\/equilibrium\/\">Equilibrium<\/a><\/em> was initially going to be a stand-alone novel, but then I thought up many sequel ideas following the descendants of the main players, such as Angora and Archis Varren.
